I am pleased to announce I am now a part of the Harter Equipment team. Many of you know me, but for those of you who don’t, I have 23 years experience in the construction industry, all of it in the service area. Stepping into the role of the Service Manager at Harter was an easy transition as I have gotten to know my fellow employees. I was welcomed by everybody and immediately noticed the positive attitude of everyone which, in these tough economic times, is hard to find.
As Service Manager for Harter Equipment I will be focused on meeting customer needs and building customer relationships. One of my goals will be to expand the capabilities of our, already outstanding, service department. I want our customers to be assured when their equipment is in our hands they will get the excellent service they deserve.
I am impressed by the products and services Harter has to offer. We sell extended warranties, customized planned maintenance contracts and are one of the largest LOJACK dealers in the state. We have excellent field service capabilities and are able to respond to most calls within hours. We also offer full time lowboy services to move your equipment. With our factory trained technicians the downtime on your machine is minimal. Our rental business has a wide variety of equipment to accommodate jobs ranging from small landscaping up to large earth movers.
So far my tasks have been easily accomplished as I work with the rental, sales, parts and service staff. I have found them all to be experienced and customer service oriented people. I have the upmost confidence that working at Harter Equipment will be extremely rewarding. And I look forward to working with you soon.
